It appears my recent post detailing the items I want to splurge on got to me. I bought a bag. While it isn’t Gucci, it is Rebecca Minkoff and has a pretty price tag. This is my first major, well thought out, big girl buy and I’m so excited about it. Keep reading to find out more about my Rebecca Minkoff Always On Regan Tote.
Welcome to my very first beauty post! It’s taken me a long time to get around to the beauty section of my blog! I’ve mainly focused on travel and lifestyle. I only just made my first fashion post. I figure what’s a better post to kick off my beauty section than my makeup must haves? I’m choosing the top five products I love and absolutely cannot live without. I’ve repurchased each of these products and will continue to do so. I have yet to find another product to replace each of them. Without further ado, here are my top five makeup must haves!
We all have those items we so badly covet, but will never be able to afford. I’ve spent a few too many nights deep into Net-a-Porter’s website, ogling over Gucci’s newest pieces. The sad reality is, I’m a broke college student barely able to support my iced coffee addiction. But, that doesn’t stop me from creating a list of items which I’d like to splurge. A girl can dream. I’ve made wish list posts before, which you can find here. I really enjoy writing them and they’re two of my most popular posts so far. So, see what made my if I could splurge list below.
So much goes into planning a Walt Disney World vacation. This blog post could go on forever! I totally get why people devote entire blogs to all things Disney World.
I love planning and thrive while doing so. So, planning a Disney vacation is the perfect experience for me. I can’t wait to do it again!
What ticket package do you get? When’s the best time to go? Which parks should you go to and how much time should you spend there? Where should you stay? All of these are important factors to consider while planning the logistics of your trip. While many bloggers are way more experienced on this topic, I’m still going to give my personal advice. Later, I’ll be making a post about my time at each park. Keep reading and check out my other Florida travel diaries here.
Welcome to my Miami travel diary! Let me begin by saying, a day in Miami is not enough. Coming from Illinois, dipping my toes in the sand and sweating while wearing romper in January is unreal. A week in my swimsuit lounging around Miami Beach sounds ideal. Unfortunately, I had only one day to cram in a tour of Miami. To read more on my trip, you can find my Florida Keys travel diary here. Read on to find my itinerary for a day trip to Miami!
Welcome to a new travel diary! In addition to being my favorite posts to write, they’re also my favorite to read. Today, I’m writing about my time in the Florida Keys, specifically Key West. If you want to check out earlier travel diaries, check here.
While staying in Orlando, my family chose to travel south for a weekend to visit the Florida Keys and Miami. Keep reading to find my recommendations for a trip to the Keys.
After finishing a blog post reflecting on 2016, I started to think up some goals for 2017. Goal setting is something I continuously do, and I find it helps to write it down. I did a post on my bucket list for last summer, and publishing that made me constantly think about the things I want to do. This year, my resolutions center around becoming a better, more holistic person. Here are my top five goals for the new year.
I think we all can agree when I say that 2016 sucks. However, despite how horrible this year may have been, it is safe to say that it flew by. I perfectly remember ringing in 2016 at my grandma’s house with my older sister. We stayed up till 4 AM learning how to wobble (I still can’t) and watching our favorite music videos (lots of Taylor Swift). This year, I’m celebrating 2017 in Orlando. Stay tuned for travel diaries later this week.
For today’s post, I’ll be recapping my personal highlights from each month of 2016.
Some of my best holiday memories are the ones in my grandma’s kitchen, making Christmas cookies with her and my sister. We make the classics: thumbprints, chocolate covered peanut butter crackers, chocolate covered pretzels, and festive spritz cookies. However, this year, my grandma chose to mix it up and get in touch with our Italian roots by making all Italian cookies. Our list includes dark chocolate pizzelles, ricotta cookies, and my favorite of the bunch: anginetti–Italian lemon drop cookies.
I’m a total sucker for anything lemon flavored. These iced lemon cookies are totally delicious. They’re soft, chewy, and sweet. So, I’m making it my first food post on the blog! Read below to find our recipe for anginetti. And, if you want to read more about great Italian eats, check out my Rome and Florence travel diaries.
