Wow — one year later, I’m returning to this blog. I never intended to give this blog up. I’m only 22, so maybe it’s silly to act like I got too busy to blog. The truth is, on top of balancing homework, an internship, and clubs, blogging just felt like another assignment and I vowed to stay away until I actually wanted to continue. But I’m here with good news, I want to blog. I have ideas and want to write them down for maybe all of 20 people to read. First up, I tried Esqido Mink Lashes and I’m here to review them.
Esqido Oh So Sweet Lashes
I ordered the Oh So Sweet lashes, anxious to try something so lengthy and voluminous. I suffer from rather short lashes, and as a redhead, you can’t see my lashes unless I’m wearing mascara. So, doubling up on something with length and volume seems like a no-brainer when shopping for false lashes.
The best part of the Oh So Sweet lashes is the criss-cross effect across the entire band. I found this to be so flattering and really accentuated my lashes in a natural-looking way.
As soon as I put the first strip on, I was impressed. Usually, when applying false lashes, there’s a period of heaviness on your eyelid. You can still feel the glue and worry that any sudden movement will cause your eyelids to stick together or cause the lashes to fall off completely. That is not the case with Esqido Mink Lashes.
The Oh So Sweet lashes are weightless and natural and fully worth the $28 price tag. Did I mention they’re reusable?
But, the absolute best part is the Companion Eyelash Glue. I don’t know about you, but I struggle with eyelash glue. I always squeeze out far too much and end up with a huge glob on a select part of the lashes. With the fine tip wand, you’ll apply the perfect amount of glue to the strip every time. Even if you find the lashes too expensive, I implore you to try this $10 glue. There’s enough in this bottle to last you ages.
I will be the first to tell you I am not good at applying false lashes. Every time I open a new pair, I miss my sorority house days when I could just walk into the bathroom and ask anyone to put them on for me. Believe me when I say I have never had such an easy time applying false lashes, nor have I ever felt so comfortable wearing them on a night out. Save yourself a trip to the drugstore and invest in a pair of Esqido Mink Lashes. Rihanna wears them, and that should be enough reason for anyone.
Esqido sent me these lashes for consideration. All opinions are honest and my own.
